Mick Baines, a respected sports physiotherapist, founded BaiMed – Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. With a keen entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence, Mick transformed a single-site clinic into a thriving business with over 80 staff members across six locations in 15 years.
Recognising a gap in the Illawarra market for specialised sports physiotherapy services, Mick founded BaiMed in 2008. His innovative approach, focus on evidence-based practice, and use of cutting-edge technology fuelled the company’s rapid growth, making it the preferred choice for professional athletes, sports teams, and fitness enthusiasts.
After 15 successful years at BaiMed, Mick exited the company to pursue new business ventures, leaving a lasting legacy in the sports medicine and physiotherapy industry.
